Successful handover of the gastronomic unit to 485 GRAD

Handover of catering area to 485 GRAD

We are delighted to hand over the second gastronomic unit in the atrium of our METRO AG headquarters to Patrik Jaros and Lars Zoellner for interior design. Patrik Jaros, once Germany's youngest star chef and an expert in innovative catering concepts, and Lars Zoellner, founder and managing director of 485 GRAD, bring authentic Italian flair and Neapolitan pizza to the ONE METRO Campus in Düsseldorf-Flingern with their successful concept.

Guests can expect Pizza 2.0, which combines tradition with modernity, served in a light-flooded ambience with a large outdoor terrace - the perfect place for a cosy, feel-good atmosphere, hearty cuisine and a love of food. The restaurant is scheduled to open in spring 2025.

Since last year, METRO has been developing its own existing buildings into a modern office world and taking the opportunity to offer restaurateurs a platform at their location. In two construction phases, a new METRO Gastro Store and several restaurants are being built that reflect the diversity of the industry: from top-class Michelin-starred cuisine to traditional neighbourhood restaurants with feel-good cuisine and forward-looking culinary concepts that will complement our outstanding local gastronomy scene in the future and represent a further step towards enhancing the profile of Düsseldorf as a gastronomy location - a goal that METRO is pursuing together with the state capital of Düsseldorf and other partners.
