The highlight and centrepiece of the quarter's development will be a gastronomic experience world with innovative, diverse gastronomy and hospitality concepts.
With its incomparable location at the intersection of the Düsseldorf districts of Flingern, Düsseltal and Grafenberg, the ONE METRO Campus is a special feature in Düsseldorf in terms of versatility. The excellent connections to the city centre as well as the proximity to Grafenberg Forest and Ostpark offer a high level of attractiveness. Connected to the global METRO Group headquarters with around 3,000 employees, in the direct vicinity of the young Grafental district and the newly developing urban quarter D.STRICT, the location has an attractive catchment area with a high reach and diverse guest structure.

Dritan Alsela Coffee – Il Barista

World-renowned barista, roaster, entrepreneur from Düsseldorf and known for his passion and talent in the field of coffee craftsmanship. It's hard to imagine ONE METRO Campus without Dritan Alsela. The multi-award-winning, charismatic "Il Barista" is an experience and an inspiration. His passion: coffee. His renowned Dritan Alsela Coffee shop on Schlüterstraße has long been a popular Düsseldorf hotspot for coffee enthusiasts.
485 GRAD – Pizza 2.0: Innovative. Traditional. Authentic.
Patrik Jaros, once Germany's youngest Michelin-starred chef and an expert in innovative gastronomy concepts, and Lars Zoellner, founder and managing director of 485 GRAD, are bringing authentic Italian flair and Neapolitan pizza to the ONE METRO Campus in Düsseldorf-Flingern with their successful concept. The 485 GRAD concept has its roots in the original Pizza Napoletana and its traditional 18th-century production process. Guests can expect Pizza 2.0, which combines tradition with modernity, served in a light-filled ambience with a large outdoor terrace – the perfect place for a family-friendly atmosphere, cuisine made with heart and a passion for guests.
LA VIE by thomas bühner

Internationally renowned and multiple award winner Thomas Bühner opened his new restaurant LA VIE by thomas bühner on the METRO Campus in April. The long-standing 3-star chef will act as operator, concept developer and patron, working together with head chef Timo Frische, host Antonia Winkler and sommelier Thilo Kownatzki to present classics from the former la vie in Osnabrück alongside new creations inspired by his travels around the globe. The cuisine at the new LA VIE by thomas bühner combines high-quality regional products with the best influences from two culinary worlds – French and Asian. For Bühner, French cuisine is the origin of fine dining and therefore also the basis of his culinary understanding. However, thanks to his commitments in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Beijing, Asian cuisine has also become a culinary home for him. At LA VIE in Düsseldorf, these two cuisines now form a harmonious combination.
Mexico meets METRO Campus
The restaurant space has been successfully handed over to the well-known Düsseldorf restaurateur family Buchmann – founders of the Casita Mexicana restaurant chain – and two other established names on the Düsseldorf restaurant scene. Covering an area of around 300 m2 plus an outdoor terrace, the restaurateurs will celebrate authentic, homemade Mexican street food under a new name and with a fresh culinary concept. The opening of the new Mexican hotspot in Düsseldorf-Flingern is planned for late summer 2025.
