ONE METRO Campus: This is the name under which METRO is developing its global headquarters in Düsseldorf. The concept focuses on identity-creating work environments for employees as well as extensive expertise in the catering and hospitality sector.

One for all - our ONE METRO Campus

Düsseldorf has been the home of METRO since the mid-1960s. Many threads come together here and group-wide decisions for the global business are made here. At METRO AG's headquarters and in the company's various subsidiaries, some 3,400 employees from a total of 87 nations are working to drive forward the transformation into a pure wholesaler.

Working together in the office is more than just working on projects and to-do lists individually or as a team. It is about shared experiences, about encounters that promote exchange and ideas. It's about spaces where you can feel and sense the corporate culture. That is our philosophy in the redesign of the ONE METRO Campus.

Embedded in the prospering district of Flingern, work and life, enjoyment and leisure enter into a forward-looking symbiosis here: The existing office buildings will be integrated into the overall urban concept of the new quarter and parts of them will be made accessible to the public. The centrepiece will be a world of experience with innovative gastronomy and hospitality concepts. The ONE METRO Campus will be complemented by a compact METRO GastroStore.

Home of working

METRO is moving closer together at the modernised ONE METRO Campus in order to achieve the goals of the sCore growth strategy across all companies. The reconstruction of the ONE METRO Campus working environments is being carried out with the aim of bringing all companies closer together, dissolving silos, intensifying cross-company and cross-divisional exchange and creating modern and contemporary workplaces. The ONE METRO Campus increases the attractiveness of the workplace, which we see as the "Home of Working".

The new working environment paired with the offer of the gastronomy partners and a gastro-store strengthen our ONE METRO identity internally and a modern employer profile externally.
